Welcome
My own lived experience helps me to build workplaces that nurture happier employees to achieve a collective goal.

Working in large-scale retail management for 20 years has allowed me to develop a strong personal ethos and deep insight.
Understanding employees, their needs, and how to meet them brings a cohesive team culture that increases profitability, reduces employee turnover, and leads to a caring workplace of choice.
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have entrepreneurial parents. Not only were they beautiful parents, but they instilled in me a deep-seated business acumen. At the age of 16, I left school and successfully opened and managed my first business. I went on from there to work for a big-box retailer and started working my way up through the ranks, I found my priority and passion was caring and nurturing my team, with clear positive results. Never really aspiring to be a complex or store manager I soon realised to imbed a positive culture I needed to lead from the top.

I was extremely fortunate to work for a large company that encouraged its leaders to put their team’s wellbeing first. When offered the position of complex manager, opening a new store and recruiting my own leadership team and 170 team members, I jumped at it. During this time, I completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Management. It wasn’t long before I found my passion and strength to coach and train my leadership team and assist other business owners, bringing strong leadership and culture alive.
“I don’t want to work for the company, I want to work for you”
The key turning point in my career was when closing an interview I asked the candidate why he wanted to work for this particular company, He absolutely surprised me by answering “I don’t want to work for the company, I want to work for you”. I was speechless for a moment and then asked why He went on to say “I want to be a great leader and you’re the person that can get me there”.
My passion for caring leadership and having a solid workplace culture has naturally developed into my desire to assist other companies to achieve their desired goals, happier employees and positive impact on everyone’s wellbeing.
Cheryl is a strong, caring and consistent leader who develops others around her and brings them on the journey. Cheryl’s understanding of what makes a good leader and how to build a solid foundation to drive exceptional personal and business outcomes is second to none.
For over four years, Cheryl was my manager and a key mentor in a professional capacity and on a personal level, helping me become a better leader and an even better coach for my current team.
Her belief in empowering her team leads to an incredibly strong and positive culture throughout our leadership group, which ripples through the greater team with a can-do attitude.
Over the past ten years or so, I have had the privilege of having many conversations with Cheryl about leadership patterns in the workplace. During this time, Cheryl has shown herself to be committed and passionate about inspiring great leadership, encouraging honest and clear lines of communication throughout organisations. If you invite Cheryl Heit into your organisation, I have no doubt it will be an investment in a healthier future for you.
As a new company, after our first year, we needed assistance to manage our growing workforce and look at embedding a workplace culture. Cheryl gave us support to effectively manage our staff, integrate new processes, and assist in mediating conflicts.
I would highly recommend Cheryl her training and support in any organisation, large or boutique.
Cheryl is a tolerant, patient, and approachable Leader who has a natural ability to coach across all aspects of business and life.
One of the key factors in Cheryl’s leadership style is her authenticity. She not only sparks excitement in the leaders she works with but brings kindness and empathy whenever she integrates with an organisation. Since her methods focus on values, organisations that work with Cheryl will discover a healthier culture, better customer experience & lower attrition whilst ensuring leaders have the tools to continue this work.
